we offer

• sailing/motor boat "Eltanin", well adapted (both the hull and the equipment) especially for Arctic navigation (transportation and research aboard the vessel), well-tried during 14 seasons of sailing around Svalbard:
  • considerable cargo space, possibility of loading large pieces via cargo hatch in the deck - size of an europallet,
  • possibility of carying cargo on the deck - also untypical: kayaks, snowmobilies, drums, barrels,
  • hull design allowing safe occasional navigation in ice,
  • navigational equipment (radar/ARPA, AIS, autopilot, echo sounder, satellite compass) allowing single-person watchkeeping and navigation in difficult condiditons
  • power generator (8 kVA),
  • average autonomy - at least one month,
  • solid three-winged propeller powered by a Lister marine diesel engine, well known for its reliability
• high-class equipment of the vessel, which allows also undertaking special tasks at Baltic/North sea (also in the winter). So far we completed - among others - jobs such as:
  • sea-going fishing (two frequency echosounder/fishfinder 50/200 kHz),
  • sailors and seamen training,
  • marine archeology research (lifting and transportation (to museum) of a piece of a sunken tall-ship, other research works),
  • escort of untypical expeditions ("Across the Baltic by a kayak"),
  • research (among others research for Polish Naval Academy).
• commercial contacts with our customers thus far (academic institutions, tour operators and groups),
• know-how: sharing nautical and technical experience that we have gained over 15 years,
• crew: we help to man the vessel with personnel well-qualified and experienced in polar navigation (also with previous experience aboard "Eltanin"),
• web page with constant (since 2000) address arktyka.com and e-mail addresses in this domain, used until now.

Making the vessel available for the above-mentioned (or other) activities in the following forms:

• bare-boat charter,
• sale of whole vessel or shares
• payment by installments,
• we are also open to other options.
